Now Playing!Tragedy Tomorrow, Comedy Tonight!One of the funniest musicals ever written, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum comes to the Canyon Theatre Guild stage on May 23rd for a six-weekend run. Forum... is Broadway's greatest farce and it brings back the infectious energy of vaudeville in a non-stop laugh-fest. Filled with light, fast-paced, witty dialogue and situations this show is the perfect escape from life's troubles. Opening night on Saturday, May 23 includes a special wine and champagne reception at 7 PM before the 8 PM show. A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum opens on Saturday, May 23, with performances every Saturday evening at 8 PM, Sunday matinees at 1 PM, and a Sunday evening performance at 6:30 PM on Father's Day, June 21. In addition, there will be Friday evening performances on June 5, 12, 19 and 26, and Saturday matinees on June 20 and 27. Ticket prices are $12-$15 for Juniors and Seniors and $15-$17 for Adults. From points South or North (L.A. or Antelope Valley areas) take the Antelope Valley Freeway (Hwy 14) and exit Newhall Ave. (used to be San Fernando Road) (Hwy 126), heading North. The Canyon Theatre is located on the corner of San Fernando Road and 6th Street (just North of William S. Hart Park). If parking is not available on San Fernando Road feel free to park at the Metrolink Station located behind the theatre off of Railroad Avenue.
